Actress Lupita Nyong'o Has Acquired Rights To Adapt Chimamanda's Novel 'Americanah' Into A Film

Actress Lupita Nyong'o announced Thursday [June 5] that she's acquired the rights to adapt Nigerian writer’s novel…Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s novel ‘Americanah’ into a film, which she will both star in and produce.

Taking to social media on Thursday, the stunning 31-year-old excitedly confirmed the rumours.

'Yes!!! 'Tis true: I acquired the rights to make a film of this amazing book by this amazing writer. I HIGHLY recommend the read. #Americanah #GrabIt,' she captioned an image of the book cover.

Former NAFDAC Boss Professor Dora Akunyili Dead At 59

Former Director General of the the NAFDAC  and ex minister of Information, Professor Dora Akunyili, has died according to a family source.
 Dr. Akunyili died in an India Hospital where she has been receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment. She was aged 59.
